I've spent my whole life playing bluegrass music on the mandolin. I’m currently a member of two bluegrass groups, Bronco Junction and Silas Powell Band, and I've been fortunate to build a strong following around central Appalachia.
I come from a five-generation bluegrass family out of West Virginia, and I’ve been playing mandolin since I was seven. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to perform at major festivals like MerleFest, HoustonFest, and Remington Ryde. I've been around enough to have played with local favorites like the Hillbilly Biscuits, the Davisson Brothers, and Clayton Nile Young. I've also been lucky enough to have played with industry giants like Ricky Skaggs and Billy Strings.
Although my roots are grassy, I try to keep it versatile. I play rock, country, and jazz not only on mandolin but guitar and fiddle as well.

Additionally, I teach. I've taught various bluegrass workshops at Glenville State University's bluegrass program. I was guitar instructor at Monroe Mandolin Camp in 2021 and 2025 (as well as mandolin in 2025). Outside of that, I've been teaching independent lessons in person and online since 2017.
